If you've ever pulled a report and seen two captures both filed under a folder called "Homepage" or a date, and wondered whether they were actually in the same place, they probably weren't. We've made these improvements to help clarify the location of each folder, especially for cases when multiple folders share the same name.
What's new:
Reports that group or list captures by folder now show the full folder path (for example, Matter Files > Client Site > Homepage), not just the folder name on its own. By Folder reports also now include a Folder owner column.
If a path is too long to display in full, we shorten it and keep the most specific part visible. You can hover over truncated folder paths any time to see the complete path. CSV exports include the full path and folder owner too.

Folder names like dates, "Homepage," or case labels get reused constantly across matters and users. Reports now tell folders apart by their unique identity, not just their name, so you can trust that what's grouped together in a report actually belongs together.
How to see it
Just pull a By Folder or Capture report in Portal like you normally would, the full paths show up automatically without any setup needed.
One note: folder moves can take a few minutes to show their new path in reports, since report data refreshes on a short delay.
